H2O+ Refresh
Brand Refresh . H2O+ . 2015
packaging design, signage design, illustration, production management
In 2015, H2O+ decided to implement a new marketing strategy for our skincare line. There was a shift to focus on the skincare benefits of many of the sea-derived ingredients used in the product. With the new marketing direction, we took a new look at our packaging and signage materials to create something lighter and brighter, moving away from the darker underwater images and heavy condensed fonts.
I was responsible for the first implementation, a revitalized holiday packaging design. I developed seaweed-inspired illustrations and established a new color palette for our holiday gift set program. I also used this new creative for signage, which used layered seaweed photographs to create new graphics.
As part of the new marketing refresh, I also developed an infographic used in marketing materials and as a pattern for our yearly reusable bag. The graphic was split into three sections, one focusing on ocean and seaweed trivia, the next section focused on skin facts and the final portion provided background on H2O+.
